‘With increased talk about the devolution of Policing, Probation, the Court System and other parts of the Criminal Justice system in Wales, what does the future of the legal system in Wales look like, and how should lawyers prepare for that future?’

The lecture will be delivered this year by Mr Mark Evans, Deputy Vice President of the Law Society of England and Wales. Mark has been a Law Society Council Member since 2015 and was chair of the Law Society Wales Committee from 2017 to 2021. He has been an inaugural member of both the Law Society Board and National Board for Wales, and is a member of the Cheshire & North Wales Local Law Society, holding the position of President in 2014.

The Cyril O Jones Annual Law Lecture will be held at Wrexham University, Nick Whitehead Lecture Theatre at 6.00pm on Wednesday 22nd of May 2024.

Refreshments will be available at the main reception area of the University from 5.30pm.
